Disney Legacy - 1.2 Fairy Godmother

Welcome back to the Disney Legacy. Last time we met our lovely founder, Fantasia Disney, and she met a prospective husband, Travis Scott, and took him out on a successful date.

Fantasia wastes no time with Travis. The day after their date, she invited him over, and showed off all her best moves.

She's got Travis right where she wants him! ;)

Travis doesn't look too upset at being had though. Haha. By the way, Travis is Self-Assured, Outgoing, and a Geek. He's got a career in the computer programming career. He's like the opposite of Fantasia's artsy, carefree way, but they complement each other very well I think. :)

In true legacy style, Fantasia proposes to her beau in the kitchen of all places. Very romantic. At least they have an ice bucket with champagne behind them, a reward from their amazing date.

Travis said yes, of course, and the pair quickly eloped. Also in the kitchen. Fantasia wished she could have had the big fairy tale wedding with a pretty, poofy ball gown like in the movies, maybe in front of a beautiful castle, but she loves Travis, and that's all that matters right now. :) Maybe their descendants will have the means to have big, beautiful weddings, but for right now Fantasia and Travis must work hard to leave a good legacy.

They say "I do" in a big puff of confetti that appears from nowhere. Hey, it's Disney magic. We won't question it.

The next day Fantasia has a big surprise for Travis.

Travis: "Uh, honey, don't take this the wrong way, but is your stomach a bit...rounder than usual?"

Fantasia: "Yes, silly. It's because there's a baby in there now. We're going to be parents!"

Travis: "O_O"

Travis might be a little worried about impending fatherhood, but Fantasia revels in being a mother-to-be. She definitely has the pregnancy glow. :)

But if they're going to have any space for a growing family, she and Travis must keep going to work! Fantasia's chosen career as an artist is really helpful in this regard, as she can earn the family extra money by selling her paintings. As a result, their hut has been upgraded to a shack!

Someone in the family should probably learn how to cook. Travis volunteered. He's...uh, still got kinda a long way to go. But at least he tries!

Fantasia's best friend is Dina Caliente. They gossip about the neighbors and their own love lives. Fantasia can't help but gush about Travis all the time. Luckily, Dina doesn't seem to mind.

Fantasia: "Dina, I have a big question to ask you. We're best friends, and it would mean a lot to me if you'd become the godmother to my baby and any future kids Travis and I might have."

Dina: "Oh my gosh, Fantasia! I'm honored. That's such a big responsibility. I'll do my best."

Fantasia works right up to the end of her pregnancy. Her impending motherhood inspires her creativity, and she improves every day.

She was even able to paint a portrait of Travis. Soon she'll need to paint a self-portrait to hang next to this one.

Travis and Fantasia still don't have enough money to afford a computer of their own so sometimes Travis returns to the house he shared with roommates where he has a computer in his old room. He needs to play video games and practice programming in order to advance in his career, and he and Fantasia need all the promotions and money they can get!

Travis: "Come on out of there, nooboo. Daddy wants to meet you!"

But the nooboo didn't seem to want to be born anytime soon. In an effort to move things along and hopefully trigger birth, Fantasia and Travis visit the park, where Fantasia quickly discovers the guitar. It's not quite as good as painting, but the instrument still appeals to Fantasia's creative side.

Finally, when they return home, Fantasia discovers she's in labor. After what seems like ages, the little nooboo is on its way! Will it be a boy or a girl? Fantasia wants a little girl to spoil and dress like a princess, and Travis wants a little boy who will love video games as much as he does.

Fantasia gets her wish! The first baby born into the Disney legacy is a little girl named Marian. Marian's namesake is Maid Marian from Robin Hood (1973).

Travis is immediately enamored with little Marian. Aww.

Fantasia painted this not long after Marian's birth, and I almost died of laughter. She decided to name the painting "My Nooboo."

But Marian won't be the only nooboo in the family for long! Fantasia is expecting again, and look how excited she is. :)

True to her word, Dina is a very good (fairy) godmother to baby Marian. She did this autonomously. :)

I'll leave you with this adorable picture of a pregnant Fantasia with Marian. :) Next Time: Will Marian have a little brother or a little sister? Will Dina continue to be a great fairy godmother? Will Fantasia and Travis earn enough money to upgrade their shack to a full-fledged house? Haha.

Disney Legacy - 1.1 Fantasia 2015

Disney Legacy - 1.1 Fantasia 2015

Hello and welcome to my new legacy, the Disney Legacy, which is themed after, you guessed it, Disney movies! Without further ado, meet our founder, Fantasia Disney. Doesn't she look just thrilled at the prospect of living on this large plot of empty land, with not even that statue for company as it goes promptly into her inventory? Haha.

Fantasia is Creative, Childish, and Cheerful. Her lifetime wish is to become a Painter Extraordinaire. Fantasia is named after the movie Fantasia, one of Walt Disney's first movies.

Since I'm not playing strictly by the rules, and she had a bit of money left over after buying the statue, I built Fantasia a little hut. It's very pink and very flowery.

Check out her humble abode.

Fantasia wastes no time in working toward her lifetime wish.

This is actually rather good for her very first painting.

The Welcome Wagon arrives, and it consists of Nina and Katrina Caliente. Katrina even brought free food. Yay! Legacy founders never turn down anything that's free.

Dina and Don Lothario quickly joined the welcome party. Suddenly, Fantasia was surrounded by new and interesting potential friends. Don in particular caught her eye.

Well, sort of. There's a cute guy behind you, and all you can do is play on your phone? Really, Fantasia?

"Katrina told me all about Don. I'm not falling for his charming ways. I'm not stupid."

Well, good point.

But look! Who's this? A preppy blonde fellow that seems to be the polar opposite of Don Lothario and his womanizing ways. Travis here definitely caught Fantasia's eye. She didn't even start playing with her phone. Future husband material, perhaps?

"Welcome to Oasis Springs, Fantasia! I like your hair."

"Thank you!" If Fantasia could blush as pink as her hair, she would.

After all her visitors left, Fantasia made a garden salad and couldn't help but smile at the day's events. Even though she lived in a rundown shack, she was the happiest she'd been in a long time. Things were finally beginning to look up.

She even completed her second painting, of a llama this time. It's super cute.

The next day after work (Fantasia got a job in her field, as a palette cleaner), Fantasia asked Travis out on a date to the lounge, and he said yes!

Oh, but Fantasia made her move a little too quickly, it seems.

"I like you a lot, Fantasia, but I want to take things slow."

"Ahh, why can't the ground open up and swallow me right now?"

We've all been there, I'm sure.

"Hey, it's okay. No big deal."

"Thanks, Travis. You're so sweet."

Later on, as the pair got to know each other better, Travis became more receptive to Fantasia's flirting.

Fantasia struck a sexy pose that Travis couldn't resist.

And the budding couple shared their first kiss!

Stay tuned for the next chapter to find out if Fantasia and Travis become a couple, and if Fantasia can earn enough money to upgrade her shack to an actual house.

Thanks for reading!
